Happy Ostara everyone! Especially for my fellow brothers and sisters out there. For those of you that don't know, today is the Spring Equinox, also known as the first day of spring. An old traditional Wiccan sabbat celebrating the return of the spring and The Mother nursing her son back to health because he has been reborn from his death in the winter months. Also of course, the Mother is transformed to her maiden form.
So come on everybody! Celebrate! It's a beautiful day ^_^
I figured it's as good a day as any to update my journal. A few things have been going on with me lately. First was a sort of devastating news that I might have to move(again). I was having some very bad couple of days and it was rather depressing when I had been so happy to be out here in the country in the first place. But thankfully I do not have to move again. So the silver lining has shown and the sun pushed right through those dark clouds.
The horses come back next week. I start my driving lessons, should be fun. Except for on Scotty because he is very afraid of tractors and we live in the country so that is the one thing we have a lot of. Besides cows. But before we start that I have to ride Mike probably around 5 miles. Which isn't much in your car but could take a while on horseback. Well anyway, we need him because he needs to drive the carriage over to Scotty before we can officially bring the horses back. We've got to work on the stalls, a horse we had before had kicked some lovely large holes in the walls so yeah. . .but that's ok. I can't wait to get back outside into the sun and sweat a little.
Oh yes! I also got a lovely new Wacom Tablet! It's so sexy...beyond the awesomeness of awesomenessocity. I have no complaints for it whatsoever and if you are thinking of getting a tablet DO IT. It's pretty damn amazing.
Besides that, no real news in the stock department. I have some pics but none that are really too good to upload on here for public use. I'm planning on going out today and attempting some pictures. I've been doing macro shots lately, but DA staff doesn't like that I put macro pics of leaves and ice in the macro category so they move it. HELLO! It's a macro shot, meaning it goes in the macro catergory. Oh well, I wouldn't expect simpletons to get this. That's about it really. Soon enough some new horse stock will be coming, I need to go out to Berich farms again and get the variety stock. But all in good time.Oh and one more sidenote, thank you very much to everyone who has been using my stock and making incredible images with it. Also, thanks to all the wonderful pageviews--slowly working up to 2K!
